This is my 3rd year of piano lessons at the Musical Offering. What I love most about music lessons is that as I learn more and more notes, I can play bigger and bigger songs. This year I learned "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" for the Bach festival. I also taught myself to play "Edelweiss" and "Ode to Joy" with Mr. Rick's help. I love lessons with Mr. Rick because he is funny and he helps me learn in different ways.

The Musical Offering is Evanston's community music school: a musical home for beginners to bloom and for more experienced musicians to explore their craft. Since the MO's inception in 2000, the school has continued to expand and evolve. One thing has always remained true: our commitment to the growth and development of the individual and community through high quality music instruction and performance.

For every $100 raised:

• $40 will directly fund scholarships to students in the 2024/25 academic year
• $40 will directly support new/upgraded pianos at the school
• $20 will directly support our general operating costs
